left us two years
ago this october.
left us too early
are still around taken prior to leaving
on my trip around australia
My friend Paula we met bowling and are are still bowling together and are nieghbours
The LADY on the right of the pic below
is my MOTHER
She was truly my friend [My Best Friend]
I have found many good friends since but
none like her and I suppose I never will.

A very nice post, and the verse is so true.
But I had a little giggle mate, on your comment on my last post, you said col and I had a good w/e.. well, dont know if he knows about it or Jo !!!! Little confusion sweetie.... I'm with Ian... Jo is with Col !!!!! So many people, tooooo darn many associations to remember, which I can relate to ...

Welcome back Gwen. Yes that is a very nice post taking roll of your departed friends.
Sometime or another we generally get to be the older generation, pretty much alone if we are the survivors very much.

Hi Gwen,
Aren't our mom's usually our first best friend? I know mine is and she has been there for me for all these years, and we are still close today. My father I lost 20 odd years ago last month, and I miss him still.
